The magic circle of the Cyclades islands
Momenti d’ispirazione/Moments of inspiration
Gathered around the island of Delos, sacred to have hosted the birth of the God Apollo, the Cyclades islands are scattered in the Aegean sea like beads of a necklace.
Each with its own character, but all equally full of light, gnarled olive trees, with dramatic cliffs on blue sea, and kind people who speak a language that embraces all the sounds of the world. Because today’s greek language, the demotic, preserves ancient words of the various dialects of the greek Koinè, mixed with many linguistic influences of the Mediterranean, including the Venetian and Genoese.
